Dr. Nathan Eberle is a rare breed of surgeon, a double board-certified surgeon does not even tell the entire story. He began first training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, followed this training with General Surgery, and completed his education with a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Nathan Eberle is one of less than 100 surgeons in the United States with these credentials. His education, coupled with his hands-on experience and eye for aesthetics, provides discerning patients with a unique opportunity to make their personal aesthetic rejuvenation desires a reality.
During his free time, Dr. Nathan Eberle enjoys traveling with his family in addition to spending time in the outdoors, hiking and backpacking.
Dr. Nathan Eberle focuses all of his expertise and years of training on his patients, who seek only the best in aesthetic plastic surgery or Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. From his years of surgery training in fields of medicine that overlap operating on the facial skeleton, he understands the complexity of the facial skeleton and soft tissue needs of patients to formulate the best and most individualized aesthetic or reconstructive rejuvenation treatment for each patient. Not only does Dr. Nathan Eberle focus his expertise on the rejuvenation of the face, breasts, and body, but he also dedicates his talents to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery patients requiring reconstructive Dental Implant Surgery, procedures such as All-On-Four with or without the use of zygomatic Implants.
Dr. Nathan Eberle can be routinely seen in his community with his wife Michelle, who is an accomplished orthodontist, and their two children, Ellie and Nathan Jr.
Meet Dr. Lisbet Diaz, our Pediatric Specialty Dentist. Dr. Lisbet Diaz did her residency at Temple University, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. She is highly qualified and specializes in complex treatment requirements and provides options for sedation unlike most offices. Rest assured our beloved children are in very capable and loving hands.
Dr. Mercke continues to seek out advanced training opportunities in order to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and issues in dentistry. Dr. Mercke has received numerous academic and professional honors including the Golden Key Honor Society, Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and Sigma Alpha Lambda Leadership & Honors Organization.

While there are over-the-counter teeth whitening products available, they may not provide the same level of effectiveness and safety as professional teeth whitening treatments. Professional teeth whitening at Comfort Dental Care & Orthodontics offers the expertise of our dental professionals, customized treatment plans, stronger whitening agents, even whitening results, and ongoing support for optimal outcomes. We recommend consulting with our team to determine the most suitable and effective teeth whitening option for your specific needs.
Teeth whitening treatments primarily target natural tooth enamel and may not have a significant effect on dental restorations such as crowns, veneers, or fillings. It's important to note that whitening agents do not change the color of existing dental restorations. If you have dental restorations visible in your smile zone, it's best to consult with our dental professionals to discuss the options for achieving a consistent and harmonious smile.
Temporary tooth sensitivity is a common side effect of teeth whitening. Some individuals may experience increased tooth sensitivity to hot or cold temperatures during or after the treatment. However, these sensitivities are usually mild and subside within a few days. Our dental professionals take precautions to minimize sensitivity and ensure your comfort throughout the process. If you have a history of tooth sensitivity, it is advisable to discuss it with our team before undergoing teeth whitening.
Teeth whitening is effective in treating extrinsic stains caused by external factors such as food, drinks, and tobacco. These stains appear on the outer surface of the tooth enamel and are generally responsive to whitening treatments. However, intrinsic stains that originate from within the tooth structure, such as those caused by certain medications or trauma, may not respond as effectively to teeth whitening. In such cases, alternative cosmetic dental procedures may be recommended to improve the appearance of the teeth.
The longevity of teeth whitening results varies from person to person and can be influenced by factors such as oral hygiene habits, dietary choices, and lifestyle. With proper care and maintenance, the effects of professional teeth whitening can last anywhere from several months to a few years. Regular dental check-ups, good oral hygiene practices, and avoiding staining substances can help prolong the results.
The duration of teeth whitening treatment can vary depending on the specific method used. At our practice, we offer professional in-office teeth whitening treatments that typically take around one to two hours to complete. Our experienced dental professionals will guide you through the process and provide an estimate of the treatment time based on your unique dental needs.
Yes, teeth whitening is considered a safe and non-invasive cosmetic dental procedure when performed by a qualified professional. At Comfort Dental Care & Orthodontics, we use industry-standard techniques and high-quality whitening agents to ensure both effective results and the safety of your teeth and gums.
